Often times I will be in a rush in the morning and need to grab n’ go a quick breakfast. When you want something nutritious but can’t spend the extra time in the kitchen, blending a few ingredients can be fast and delicious. My go-to smoothie is a green smoothie as it is filling and sweet – chocked full of fiber and goodness!
Dry Ingredients
2 tbs. cacao powder
1.5 c. baby spinach
1 tbs. protein (try hemp seeds, flax seeds, or chia seeds)
Wet Ingredients
2 c. plant milk (I like the creaminess of Oat)
2 whole frozen bananas
1 c. frozen cherries (no pits)
Steps
Blend all your dry ingredients with your choice of plant milk for 20-30 seconds on high. Next, add the remaining wet ingredients and blend for 1-2 minutes on high until smooth.
